Efren Vazquez takes victory in Sepang Moto3 thriller

With 33 degree air temperature, the riders of the Moto3 started their race in Sepang today in the early morning, with Efren Vazquez as the first rider in the second row on the grid.

Efren immediately made it to the top, and throughout the remainder of the race – lap by lap – exchanged places in the leading group.

With much hard fighting between the front runners Efren did well to keep a cool head, whilst still giving 100% – and the work paid off as he emerged ahead of Miller, Rins and Marquez – his main challengers in Sepang – to take the flag in first place.

It was a race won with thought and cunning as much as with pure speed, and is the Spaniard’s second victory of the 2014 season.

“It is really difficult to say how I’m feeling now. I am really happy with this race. It was a hard race. I push hard every weekend. I did a lot of training in the hot condicions. During the practice we got a good rhythm on the bike. I tried to be clever in the race and I am really happy to got this next victory for me and for my team.
